Concepción Chiquirichapa is a municipality located in the department of Quetzaltenango within the Western Highlands of Guatemala. It is situated approximately 14 kilometers west of the departmental capital, Quetzaltenango, and 214 kilometers west of the national capital, Guatemala City.
The municipality has a population of 17,342 residents. The community is predominantly indigenous, with 98% of the population identifying as Maya-Mam. The primary language spoken by the inhabitants is a dialect of Southern Mam.
