Jutiapa is a city and municipality located in the Jutiapa department of Guatemala. It serves as the largest city and the administrative seat of the department. The municipality covers an area of approximately 610.3 km2 (235.6 sq mi).
As of 2023 estimates, the city has a population of about 168,787 inhabitants. Geographically, the municipality is situated in close proximity to the border with El Salvador.
