El Adelanto is a town and municipality located in the Jutiapa department of Guatemala. It serves as a local administrative division within the country's eastern region.
The municipality covers a total land area of approximately 247.7 km² (95.6 sq mi). According to 2023 estimates, El Adelanto has a population of about 8,547 inhabitants.
