Asunción Mita is a town and municipality located in the Jutiapa department of Guatemala. It occupies an area of approximately 506.5 km2 (195.6 sq mi) and is situated near the national border with El Salvador.
According to 2023 estimates, the municipality has a population of about 53,944 inhabitants.
