Yepocapa, also known as San Pedro Yepocapa, is a municipality and town located in the Chimaltenango department of Guatemala. It currently has a population of 17,021 residents.
The town is situated at the base of Volcán de Fuego. Due to its proximity to the volcano, the area has been destroyed several times, with the most recent significant destruction occurring on October 15, 1974.
