Acatenango

Acatenango is a stratovolcano located in Guatemala within the Sierra Madre mountain range. It is situated in close proximity to the city of Antigua.

The volcano features two distinct peaks: Pico Mayor and Yepocapa, the latter of which is also known as Tres Hermanas. Acatenango is part of a larger volcanic complex called La Horqueta, which it shares with Volcán de Fuego.
