Purulhá is a town and municipality located in the Baja Verapaz department of Guatemala. Situated at an elevation of 1,570 meters above sea level, the municipality encompasses a total area of 536 square kilometers.
According to the 2018 census, the population of Purulhá was 56,822 residents. The town hosts an annual festival held from June 10 to June 13.
