Santa Cruz El Chol, commonly referred to as El Chol, is a municipality located in the Baja Verapaz department of Guatemala. Situated at an elevation of 1008 meters above sea level, the area covers a total terrain of 140 square kilometers.
The municipality has a population of approximately 8,817 people. It is known for hosting an annual festival that takes place from December 6 through December 8.
