San Juan Chamelco is a town and municipality located in the department of Alta Verapaz in Guatemala. Situated at an elevation of 1,350 metres above sea level, the municipality covers a total area of 228 km2.
According to the 2018 census, the population of the municipality was 57,456, while the town of San Juan Chamelco specifically had a population of 13,264. The community holds an annual festival on June 24.
