San Agustín Lanquín, commonly referred to as Lanquín, is a municipality located in the department of Alta Verapaz in Guatemala. Situated at an altitude of 380 meters (1,250 feet) above sea level, the municipality covers a total area of 208 square kilometers.
The town has a population of approximately 16,500 people. A significant portion of the local population is of Q'eqchi' Maya descent.
