Chisec is a town and municipality located in the northern region of the Alta Verapaz department in Guatemala. Founded in 1813, the municipality encompasses a total land area of 1,244 square kilometers.
The town is situated at an elevation of 230 metres (755 ft) above sea level. It serves as a primary administrative and geographic point within its respective department.
