Moires is an agricultural town and former municipality located in the Heraklion regional unit on the island of Crete, Greece. Following the local government reform of 2011, it became a municipal unit within the larger municipality of Faistos. The municipal unit covers an area of 181.885 km² (70.226 sq mi) and has a population of 11,399 people.
The town is notable for hosting the largest weekly market in the region. Historically, Moires served as a home for Christian hermits during the early Middle Ages; these hermits reportedly gathered only once a year to worship at the chapel of Agios Andonis, which was constructed in either the 14th or 15th century.
