Paros

Paros is a Greek island situated in the central Aegean Sea as part of the Cyclades island group. It is located approximately 150 kilometers southeast of Piraeus and lies just 8 kilometers west of Naxos, separated by a narrow channel. The municipality covers an area of about 196.308 square kilometers, which includes several uninhabited offshore islets.

The island's closest neighbor is the municipality of Antiparos to the southwest. Historically, Paros was home to the city-state of Paros during ancient Greece.
