Amorgos is an island located in Greece as the easternmost member of the Cyclades island group. It serves as the nearest island to the neighboring Dodecanese island group.
The municipality of Amorgos covers a land area of 126.346 square kilometres and includes 16 neighboring islets, with Nikouria Island being the largest among them. According to the 2021 census, the island had a population of 1,961 residents.
