Psara is a Greek island located in the Aegean Sea. In ancient times, it was known by the names Psyra (Ψύρα) and Psyrie (Ψυρίη). The island is situated within the North Aegean region and serves as part of the Chios regional unit.
The island forms the municipality of Psara together with the small neighboring island of Antipsara. The administrative seat and only town on the island is also named Psara.
