Alimos is a coastal town located on the Saronic Gulf in Greece. It serves as a suburb of the Athens agglomeration and functions as a municipality within the South Athens regional unit.
The municipality was established in 1968 through the merger of two distinct settlements: the seaside suburban town of Kalamaki and the inland community of Trachones. According to the 2021 census, Alimos had a population of 43,174 inhabitants.
