Livadeia is a town located in central Greece and serves as the capital of the Boeotia regional unit. It is situated approximately 90 km northwest of Athens and lies roughly 64 km west of Chalkida.
The town is positioned about 63 km southeast of Lamia, 44 km east-southeast of Amfissa, and 91 km east-northeast of Nafpaktos. It is connected to Greek National Road 3 by National Road 48, located some five kilometers to the west.
