Kato Tithorea is a town located in the Phthiotis regional unit of central Greece. It serves as the administrative seat of the municipality of Amfikleia-Elateia, a designation established following the 2011 local government reform. According to the 2011 Greek census, the town has a population of 1,841 residents.
Geographically, Kato Tithorea is situated on the right bank of the Cephissus river, positioned between the Parnassus and Kallidromo mountains. It is located approximately 11 km east of Amfikleia and 24 km northwest of Livadeia. The surrounding area includes the nearby settlements of Panagitsa to the northeast, Agia Paraskevi to the southeast, and Tithorea to the southwest.
