Distomo

Distomo is a town located in western Boeotia, Greece. It serves as the seat of the municipality Distomo-Arachova-Antikyra and functions as a municipal unit within that administrative structure. The community covers an area of 80.498 km2, while the broader municipal unit encompasses 131.270 km2.

Situated at an elevation of approximately 450 meters, the town is positioned in the western foothills of Mount Helicon. It is located roughly 5 km north of the Gulf of Corinth coast and sits within a region accessible via Greek National Road 48, which passes to the north of the town. As of 2021, Distomo has a population of 3,644 residents.
