Aliartos is a small town and former municipality located in the Boeotia regional unit of Greece. It is situated approximately 109 kilometres from Athens and about 18 kilometres west of Thebes. The name of the town originates from the ancient city of Haliartus.
Since 2011, Aliartos has been part of the larger municipality of Aliartos-Thespies. According to the 2021 census, the municipal unit of Aliartos had a population of 5,388 residents, while the town itself recorded 4,385 residents.
