Krestena is a town and community located in the Elis region of West Greece. It serves as the seat of administration for the municipality of Andritsaina-Krestena, following the local government reform of 2011. The town is situated in the low hills positioned between the Ionian Sea and the Alfeios River.
Geographically, Krestena is located approximately 6 km south of Olympia, 12 km north of Zacharo, and 18 km southeast of Pyrgos. The community encompasses the villages of Poros and Moschoula. Local infrastructure includes a variety of public services such as schools, a gymnasium, a medical center, a police station, and a fire brigade. Greek National Road 76 passes to the west of the town.
The surrounding area features notable natural landmarks, including the thermal springs of Kaiafas located 11 km to the south and Samiko beach situated roughly 6 km to the southeast.
