Amaliada is a town and former municipality located in northwestern Elis within the West Greece Region of Greece. Following the 2011 local government reform, it became part of the municipality of Ilida, serving as its seat and a municipal unit covering an area of 251.945 km2.
The town is situated in the plains of Elis, approximately 6 km from the Ionian Sea. It is positioned 10 km southeast of Gastouni, 16 km northwest of Pyrgos, and 60 km southwest of Patras. Amaliada is located near the archaeological site of Elis, which was the territory of the ancient city-state that hosted the original Olympic Games.
