Veroia, historically known as Beroea or Berea, is a city located in northern Greece within the region of Macedonia. It serves as the capital of the regional unit of Imathia and is situated in Central Macedonia.
The city is positioned approximately 511 kilometres north-northwest of Athens and 73 kilometres west-southwest of Thessaloniki.
