Pylaia is a former municipality located in the Thessaloniki Prefecture of Greece. Following the 2011 local government reform, the Thessaloniki Prefecture was reorganized into the regional unit of Thessaloniki.
Under this reform, Pylaia became part of the new municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis. It continues to exist under its original boundaries as a municipal unit within the larger Pylaia-Chortiatis administrative area.
