Chortiatis is a suburb and former municipality located in the Thessaloniki regional unit of Greece. Following the 2011 Kallikratis local government reform, it became a municipal unit within the larger municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis.
The settlement is situated at an altitude of 600 metres on the slopes of Mount Chortiatis, which serves as the namesake for the area. The municipal unit of Chortiatis covers an area of 109.934 km2, while the specific community of Chortiatis encompasses 57.315 km2.
