Sapes is a town and former municipality located in the Rhodope regional unit of East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. It serves as the seat of the municipality Maroneia-Sapes, a designation established following the 2011 local government reform.
The municipal unit of Sapes covers an area of 354.596 km2. As of 2021, the town has a population of 6,738 residents.
