Eleftheroupoli is a town and former municipality located in the Kavala regional unit of East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Following the local government reform of 2011, it became part of the municipality of Pangaio, serving as its seat and a distinct municipal unit.
The municipal unit of Eleftheroupoli covers an area of 126.974 km2. According to the 2021 census, the population of the municipal unit was 8,863, while the specific community of Eleftheroupoli had a population of 5,292.
