Chrysoupoli is a town and former municipality located in the Kavala regional unit within the East Macedonia and Thrace region of Greece. Following the local government reform of 2011, it became a municipal unit and serves as the seat of the municipality of Nestos.
The municipal unit of Chrysoupoli covers an area of 245.181 km2. As of the 2021 census, the population of this specific municipal unit was recorded at 14,970 residents.
