Santiago de Baney is a town and municipality located in the Bioko Norte Province of Equatorial Guinea. As of 2015, the population of the area was recorded as 29,366.
The city is notable for a significant aviation accident that occurred on July 16, 2005. On this date, an Antonov An-24 aircraft crashed within the city, resulting in the deaths of all 60 people on board.
