Matouba

Matouba is a locality situated in the commune of Saint-Claude on the island of Guadeloupe. Located within the boundaries of the Guadeloupe National Park, it serves as a notable point of interest for travelers and hikers who use the area as a base for exploring the surrounding terrain.

The site is historically significant as the place of death of Louis Delgrès. It also features the chapelle du Vœu-de-Matouba and is known for a natural spring situated at an elevation of 742 meters above sea level. This spring is locally noted for its purported "miraculous" powers.
