Longmont is a home rule city located in Boulder and Weld counties in Colorado, United States. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the city had a population of 98,885.
The city is situated northeast of the county seat of Boulder. It takes its name from Longs Peak, a prominent mountain that is clearly visible from the city's location.
