Gueckedou

Guéckédou is a town located in southern Guinea. It is situated in close proximity to the national borders of both Sierra Leone and Liberia.

The town had a recorded population of 79,140. During the 21st century, its population increased significantly as it became a destination for refugees fleeing the Second Liberian Civil War and the Sierra Leone Civil War.
