Kindia is a city located in the nation of Guinea. It serves as the capital and largest city of both the Kindia Region and the Kindia Prefecture, while also functioning as a sub-prefecture of the country.
Situated approximately 85 miles (137 km) northeast of Conakry, the national capital, Kindia is the fourth largest city in Guinea. As of an estimate from 2008, the city had a population of 181,126.
