Brufut is a town located in the Western Division of The Gambia. While the town itself is situated a few kilometers inland from the coastal road, the name Brufut refers to a larger area extending from the town center out to the coastline. It is accessible via a red sandy unmade road that connects Brusabi and Ghana Town.
The area is characterized by its developing infrastructure and features a main street containing a market and various government offices. Situated on a slight hill, the location provides direct views of the Atlantic Ocean and nearby sandy beaches. Brufut is easily reachable from Banjul, Serrekunda, and the Senegambia Strip via the AU Coastal Highway.
