Sisimiut, also known by its Danish name Holsteinsborg, is a city located in central-western Greenland. It sits on the coast of the Davis Strait, approximately 320 km (200 mi) north of the national capital, Nuuk.
The city serves as the capital and largest municipality within the Qeqqata region. It is recognized as the second-largest city in Greenland.
