Ashaiman is a large town located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It serves as the capital of the Ashaiman Municipal District. According to the 2021 census, the town and its surrounding district have a total population of 208,060 people.
The town is home to a diverse range of ethnic groups, including the Ga-Adangbe, Ga, Guan, Hausa, Fante, Dagomba, Ewe, Ashanti, and Akuapem. The current Mantse of the town is Nii Annang Adzor.
