Zemo Khodasheni is a village located in the Akhmeta Municipality within the Kakheti region of Georgia. Situated at an elevation of 580 meters above sea level, the settlement lies on the right bank of the Alazani River along the Alazani Valley. It is positioned approximately 15 kilometers from the town of Akhmeta.
The village serves as a community center and carries the historic name Badagoni. Notably, it is home to the Badagoni winery, which reflects the area's historical and cultural significance.
