Kutaisi

Georgia

Kutaisi is a city located in the Imereti region of the Republic of Georgia. Situated on the Rioni River, it lies approximately 221 kilometres west of the national capital, Tbilisi. It serves as the administrative capital of the Imereti region.

The city is recognized as one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. As of 2025, Kutaisi is the third-largest city in Georgia, following Tbilisi and Batumi, with a population of 123,000 residents.
