Trefnant is a village and community situated in Denbighshire, Wales. It is located within the Vale of Clwyd along the A525 road, positioned approximately halfway between the town of St Asaph (Llanelwy) to the north and Denbigh to the south.
According to census data, the community experienced growth in the early 21st century. The population was recorded at 1,409 during the 2001 Census and increased to 1,581 by the 2011 Census.
