Trawsfynydd is a linear village located in Gwynedd, Wales, within the United Kingdom. It is situated near the Llyn Trawsfynydd reservoir and lies adjacent to the A470 road.
The village is positioned north of Bronaber and Dolgellau, approximately 10 km south of Blaenau Ffestiniog. It also neighbors the towns of Porthmadog and Bala.
