Pengam is a former coal village and community located in the Rhymney Valley within the Caerphilly county borough of Wales, United Kingdom. Historically established as a mining settlement, it serves as a residential area situated in the southern part of the country.
The community encompasses both Pengam itself and the nearby village of Fleur de Lys. According to census data, the population was recorded at 3,842 in 2001 and saw a slight increase to 3,848 by the 2011 Census.
