Llantrisant

Llantrisant is a town and community located in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. It sits within the historic county boundaries of Glamorgan and is situated on the River Ely and the Afon Clun.

The town is a hilltop settlement positioned at an altitude of 174 meters (571 feet) above sea level. Its name is derived from three saints: Illtyd, Gwynno, and Dyfodwg. Notably, Llantrisant serves as the home of the Royal Mint.
