Llansawel is a village and community located in the county of Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is situated approximately ten miles north of Llandeilo.
The community covers an area of 4,079 hectares, which is equivalent to about 15.75 square miles. It is bordered by several other communities within Carmarthenshire, including Pencarreg, Cynwyl Gaeo, Talley, Llanfynydd, Llanfihangel Rhos-y-Corn, and Llanybydder.
