Llangain is a village and community situated in Carmarthenshire, located in the south-west of Wales. It is positioned to the west of the River Towy and lies south of the town of Carmarthen.
The area contains several historical landmarks, including three standing stones and two chambered tombs. Additionally, the community houses the ruins of Castell Moel, a great house dating back to the 15th century. According to census data, the population was recorded at 574 in 2001 and decreased slightly to 573 by 2011.
