Llanfaethlu is a village and community situated in the north west of Anglesey, located in north-west Wales within the United Kingdom. According to the 2011 Census, the community had a population of 553 residents.
The village derives its name from the Church of Saint Maethlu. The surrounding community also includes the area of Llanfwrog.
