Ebbw Vale is a town located in Wales, United Kingdom. Situated at the head of the valley formed by the Ebbw Fawr tributary of the Ebbw River, it serves as the largest town and the administrative centre of the Blaenau Gwent county borough.
The town is part of the Ebbw Vale and Brynmawr conurbation, which has a population of approximately 33,000. Geographically, the area borders the Brecon Beacons National Park and provides direct access to the dualled A465 Heads of the Valleys trunk road.
