Derwen is a rural village located in the southern region of Denbighshire, Wales. It is situated in the upper portion of Dyffryn Clwyd on the northern side of the River Clwyd, positioned approximately halfway between the towns of Corwen and Ruthin.
The village sits opposite the community of Bryn Saith Marchog. According to the 2011 census, Derwen had a population of 426 residents.
