Crynant is a village and community located in the Dulais Valley in Wales, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately 7¾ miles north-east of the town of Neath within the county borough of Neath Port Talbot.
The settlement is geographically defined by its surrounding highlands, positioned between the mountains of Mynydd Marchywel to the west and Hirfynydd to the east. It is further bordered by Mynydd y Drum to the north.
