Newton Mearns is a town located in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. It serves as the largest settlement within the county and is situated approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Glasgow City Centre. The town sits at an elevation of 410 feet (125 m) above sea level along what was historically the main road to Ayrshire.
