Grangemouth

Grangemouth is a town situated in the Falkirk council area within the central belt of Scotland. Historically, it was part of the county of Stirlingshire and is located in the Forth Valley on the banks of the Firth of Forth.

The town is positioned approximately three miles east of Falkirk, five miles west of Bo'ness, and 13 miles (21 km) south-east of Stirling. According to census data, the resident population was recorded as 17,906 in 2001, with preliminary figures for 2011 reporting a population of 17,373.
